Becoming a B'nai Mitzvah (Bat Mitzvah or Bar
Mitzvah) can be an incredible experience for a young adult and the family. I
fully prepare a child for becoming a B'nai Mitzvah. If your child has gone
through my curriculum, they will come to this stage of growth having learned
Hebrew, holidays, culture and ethics. Though this is but a thimble-full of
knowledge in the whole of Judaism, my goal is to give the child a working basis
of Judaism from which they can participate in the Jewish community with ease.
Families have had
B'nai Mitzvah services in a variety of places; synagogues, homes, auditoriums,
rented halls, parks... really anywhere! Remember, we are a portable religion.
Community grows with your family and friends. Jews have been carving out new
ways to define community since our inception. Rest assured, our B'nai Mitzvahs
are joyful, meaningful experiences that are widely inclusive.
