Fees and Policies

* Private B'nai Mitzvah tutoring: $30 per half hour.
* Hebrew school classes (ages 8 and above): classes are held every week; $840 per child per year.
* Young Learners (ages 5 to 7 years old): classes are held every other Sunday; $420 per child per year.

I also offer private and semi-private lessons; please call for rates.

Discounts! 10% sibling discount and 5% "year paid in full" discount if paid by the 1st class. A $50 non-refundable deposit will hold your place in class.

All classes are paid in advance; half in August and half in January. There are 28 lessons per year with ample opportunity for make-up classes in case of illness (mine or yours!) or weather. There are no refunds after the second week of class.

* If a child misses due to illness, sports events, family trips, school events, etc. they are free to make up the class within the academic year. However, I still maintain my strict policy that sick or "sort of" sick kids cannot attend classes. They are free to make up the class during the academic year.

* All books, supplies, food and craft items are included.
* As always, there are Shabbos dinners, Passover parties, cook-outs, "Ask the Rabbi," and many other different and engaging activities at no extra cost.

* If there are enough girls to create a "girls class," GREAT. If you want to put together a group of kids: We can work out a parent-kid class. We can work out all girls under 6 or pre-B'nai Mitzvah kids or post B'nai Mitzvah kids. I am always open to suggestions.

* I follow the Baltimore County Public School schedule in terms of classes. The exception will be for Jewish Holidays that fall on school days and will be closed. The schedule will be published in August.

* I follow Baltimore County Public Schools in terms of weather closings. If school is closed early or closed for the entire day we will make up the class at the end of the academic year. If school opens late, classes are as scheduled.
