I come to teaching with an appreciation of each child and their individual family. Teaching and learning is hard work! But, that never should compromise a reciprocal relationship based on respect and valuing each person as part of our community. A personal goal is to always maintain my sense of humor and fun in the learning process. I am a big believer that humor and enjoyment makes learning a joyful experience, one that a student will seek to recreate on their own, long after lessons are over.
