Tzedakah...learning to
give freely; without expectation. I model that for the kids and expect kids to
grow in this direction. They collect pennies throughout the year to give to any
charity they wish. Below are several charities that I support:
* American Friends of Mogen Dovid Adom (
www.afmda.org) - Israeli's ambulance and blood
bank. This is NOT supported by the Israeli government, only by donations. I am the
Maryland Community Outreach Coordinator.
* Lupus
Mid-Atlantic ( www.lupusmd.org) - An auto-immune disease that
affects, joints, muscles and organs. I have a personal acquaintance with
Lupus.
